WHY I’M RUNNING

I am running to bring a conservative voice to Congress for Congressional District 9, from the West Valley to Yuma and the entire Colorado River area.

Congressional redistricting moved Congressman Paul Gosar into the new CD 9, the conspiracy theorist that can’t even gain the support of his own siblings.  I decided it was time to take a stand for all my neighbors and the residents of the new district. When was the last time Congressman Gosar did anything to promote our military installations at Luke Air Force Base or in Yuma at the Marine Air Corps Station and the Yuma Proving Grounds? When has he come out in support of our veterans? How about working to lower inflation to help hard working families in CD 9? How about dealing with the massive increase in crime that worry all Americans? Instead, he spends his time spewing unproven conspiracies and even denigrating the Pope during a visit to the United States.

As a veteran, mother of a fallen soldier and former educator, I want to be a voice for the farmers, veterans, service members and parents in CD 9. You will be my top priority. It’s time to elect a real fighter to Congress, someone committed to improving Arizona. After my years of service in the Marine Corps and my time as Maricopa County School Superintendent, I know how to put my constituents first! I promise not to make national headlines but instead, work for you and your families.  I will work to eliminate high inflation so our families can afford to take care of their children.  This is truly putting People over Politics!
